Customer service experience

Great summer job at a small, family owned vegan restaurant while I was attending another college previously in Rhode Island right after high school. I left because of an internship opportunity relating to my prior college focus, however I learned so much from this job, including cleanliness standards and practices, and customer service experience

I worked as a Lifeguard at a day camp the summer after my senior year of high school. I went through training to become a lifeguard for this job, and learned how to do CPR as well as attaching leads and how to operate an AED machine. Even though my certification as a lifeguard has expired, I feel confident in my ability to perform these processes accurately. I took this job very seriously as several small children were under my watch, in the pool and at the lake, and I even performed a save on a child who was drowning, and used the proper recuse techniques to bring him up to the surface, and out of the pool safely, he was okay. This experience played a part in inspiring me to get a degree in nursing.
