After Topping Out of the Ironworkers apprenticeship, I started my Career in a variety of Ironwork endeavors
I worked in Steel mills (Constellium, Eramet, AMG STEEL MILL)
I Worked in New Construction, Hospitals, Bridges, and Industrial Buildings
I worked in Welding, Structural Iron, and Reinforcing
I spent 9 years in the Trade, last 3 years i was Foreman on Jobs or also Union Steward
I had Crews of 4 to 12 Individuals I had to come up with detailed work plans and troubleshoot and overcome technical difficulties
In January 2024 I Had the opportunity to Start my Career in Chemical Operations at Kraton Polymers in Belpre Ohio
I started with No experience in Chemical operating and had to learn quickly and safely through Highly technical training
I Learned the safety aspects of chemical operation, as well as the efficient and optimal operation of High Risk equipment
We use a variety of Different Hydrocarbons and Solvents as well as high Pressure steam and high pressure Nitrogen in different methods through the polymer process
