Working as a dsp is amazing and beautiful, assisting individuals with what they need and want. Be there for someone that believe and trust you to be in their homes is such an opportunity, helping with his or her activities of daily living. Including doing their vitals when necessary, bathing, shaving, daily hygiene, doing laundry , helping with mobility ,making sure their environment is clean ,preparing home made meals with the people we serve, going out to games, movies, registrant , doctors appointments vacations etc . Just being there for them living life. I also administered prescribed and over the counter medications. I also renewed my CPR certificate by going through almost 6 hours training every two years including first Aid &AED. I worked
