I am currently employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Montefiore Medical Center – Hutch Campus, where I provide comprehensive nursing care across high-volume pediatric subspecialty clinics. In this role, I perform advanced clinical procedures including phlebotomy, EKGs, spirometry, FibroScan, and allergy testing. I administer both routine and specialized vaccinations to pediatric and adult populations and assist in chronic disease management, particularly in respiratory and hepatology conditions.

Additionally, I educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, and home care management, while supporting providers with surgical preparation and post-procedure care. I also train patients in the use of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring devices and ensure accurate, timely documentation within electronic medical record systems.

Prior to this, I was employed at Sunshine Inc. Residential for over five years, providing care to both pediatric and adult populations. While my primary focus has been pediatrics, I am also cross-trained in geriatric care. During my time there, I delivered high-quality care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, including those with behavioral disorders, Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism, and schizophrenia. This experience strengthened my clinical judgment, adaptability, and compassionate approach to patient care. While working there, I furthered my education and obtained my Registered Nurse license.

I am currently planning to enroll in an RN-to-BSN program to continue advancing my professional development. I am particularly interested in joining your organization because of the opportunity for long-term growth and contribution.

My clinical skills include safe medication administration, tube feedings, focused assessments, wound care, phlebotomy, and therapeutic communication. My clinical rotations also provided experience with various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, and I bring strong competency in pediatric dosage calculations and comprehensive pediatric care.
