  • Shop produced 5-10 pressure vessels on a weekly basis.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with NBIC, ASME and FDA rules and codes.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials on a daily basis for quality and conformance with ASME Section II. Perform visual inspections and non-destructive tests where appropriate.
  • Inspect all pressure boundary welds to drawings and for defects under AWS specifications.
  • Communicate with production team members about quality issues.
  • Using Non-Conformance Reporting, report repeated issues, while collaborating to identify issue roots and rectify problems.
  • Complete precise measurements using special tools.
  • Identify and document Non-Conformances for management to develop resolutions.
  • Develop and implement enhanced paper records and digital recording processes for inspection and testing data.
  • Perform ASME hydro-testing of pressure vessels under monitoring by an Authorized Inspector. Recorded test results on data sheets.
