I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I speak English and Spanish. I went to the university to study elementary education with a minor in Spanish and Math. Worked as an elementary Spanish teacher for 5 years while which I also taught ESL at the local community college. For many years I also did volunteer work as an interpreter for the local Spanish speaking community, driving them to their appointments and interpreting at Dr offices, DSS appointments and in the courtroom. I also helped to create, start, the local organization known as Centro Unido Latino-Americano. Worked on the board of this organization since the beginning, first as the treasurer, then vice president and the latest as president until 6/30/2023. I now work for the organization as an event supervisor. I am here to serve the community.
