Francis Ladish

- I've been playing music all my life, but have just recently made the move to a full time musician.

- I play in 4 different bands, and book shows for 3 of them.

- I love it, and it is grueling.

- I enjoy being able to connect people together and help them support themselves by paying the people i work with a fair amount.

- I Co-managed alongside Andrew, who did the admin stuff, while I handled front of house, inventory, and training.

- Inventory for bakery, kitchen, coffee, and dining area. A fairly large undertaking for a high volume coffee/breakfast spot.

- With a larger staff, I learned a lot about what it means to be a leader. A leader demonstrates, leads by example, lifts others up, and pays attention.

- We held meetings, I prepared notes, we discussed issues openly and as best we could, we would address the issues.

- It was a great learning experience, and I felt capable of handling high stress/high intensity situations with a fair amount of poise.

- Trained new baristas, though we didn't have a lot of turnover. It was the same 4 person staff for 3 years.

- Did inventory, including supply runs, and responded to customer reviews.

- Did my best to cultivate a welcoming environment and a dedication to providing the best coffee experience we could.

- These were some of my favorite years working. The regular customers, the well oiled machine that was our team, and the excitement of all that coming together.

- I'm proud of the service we provided and do believe that we made a lot of peoples mornings a little more bearable.

- I strived to be helpful and informative.

- Training is about observation and guidance.

- Tried to make the experience fun while still maintaining a focused workflow.

- We had some really fast drive thru times, and we had a blast doing it.
