During my tenure at St. Joseph's Prep, I served as a Modern Language Department Chair, as well as having served on many academic/ non-academic committees at St. Joseph's Prep School.
I enhanced my ongoing professional development as an evaluator of the Middle States Association of Schools since the early eighties. This experience has always helped me reflect on my teaching and the care of my students.
Recently , I was a member of the Middle States evaluating team at the Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, N.Y. In the past, I have served on over 25 Middle States Committees.
My other responsibilities included being the Moderator of the Swimming and Wrestling teams, as well as Mission and Ministry programs at Thanksgiving and Christmas to help feed the members of our committee in North Philadelphia.
At St. Joseph's Prep School , I photographed athletics events for many different teams, as well as other co-curricular activities. I submitted my photos to the communications department, to the yearbook committee and I uploaded photos to the St. Joseph's Prep Facebook page for many years.
I enjoyed supporting the students in their endeavors and documenting their dedication and hard work through photos for the students and for their parents.
I view my vocation to teach high school as a true gift from God that has helped me minister to his young people.
