As a Maintenance Technician, I conducted preventative maintenance on state-of-the-art beverage equipment such as depalletizers, air bridges, CSWs, ECI's, water rinser, fillers, seamers, twisters, FCI's, kisters, spiral conveyors, logo pack labelers, metler toledo scales, plate distributors, kuka robotics and automation, palletizers, empty pallet inspections, logo pack pallet labelers
All equipment is connected via a conveyor system driven by a series of motors corresponding with the sections of conveyors they drive
I would clean out the excess grease or if no excess grease is present then I would clean the old grease out to allow for new grease to enter
The preventive maintenance was conducted during a scheduled time frame of days when the production lines were shut down to allow me and other production technicians to conduct repairs
I would operate the equipment in manual mode to isolate the exact location of the issue when operators would state a problem but not necessarily know how to describe it, operators would be present to assist if needed
During times of production visual inspections are conducted, and annotation of the status of the equipment is always taken
Instances during production that would require repair required a call from production operators to notify maintenance and I would respond to assess the issue, depending on the severity of the issue and the time frame for production I would notify the maintenance lead whether or not additional assistance would be required
Lock-out and tag-out procedures are implemented
Pneumatics on the depalletizer, palletizer, and empty pallet inspections were checked during preventive maintenance
