Summary

A Machinist Mate Second class with 8 years of service in U.S Navy. I've done tours on the USS Abraham Lincoln, qualifying the senior position of Chief reactor watch and currently serving a shore tour at USS Emory S Land as a contamination worker. As a Machinist Mate I am Skilled at aligning pipe systems, repairing faults and replacing components. Knowledgeable about planning, implementing and documenting repairs to propulsion equipment. Reads and understands technical diagrams, schematics and manuals. Having experience in operation of nuclear steam plants. Proficient in controlling, operating and maintaining steam plant machinery. Detail-oriented installation and repair professional inspecting, repairing and replacing valves, pumps, and other parts. Collateral duties include Gage calibration program, hazardous material program, freeze seal program. The majority work at the moment in Guam is as a contamination worker, qualified to work in radiation controls performing maintenance on potentially contaminated systems. I'm currently in Guam and will be in the states of April 2023.
