As a maintenance technician it is important to see things through multiple lenses in order to achieve a much greater result. At the hands of the technician we get to resolve the issues in the building with the least amount of resistance possible in order to eleviate the amount of possible stress weather its coming from the recipient in the home were the issue has accured or its an issue with the building, it lands in someones ball court as an issue and becomes the responsibility of the technician to make sure it is properly taken care of in a professional fashion.
Descriptions vary depending on site variations like weather it is an apartment complex, condominiums, anything HUD or housing for the elderly. For example an older property may have a higher demand for drywall and texture repairs along with knowledgeable plumbing and mold remediation skills, then theres elderly communities that may only need some new blinds fixed here and there an unclogged toilet or need there filters changed and some grounds work. Hud has more of a demand for turn overs deep cleans and exterior issues like drywall, texture, replacing lights, fixtures blinds sinks, stove top cartridges and coils, refrigerator and freezer fans, old leaky fittings, stove fans, seals, window and sliding door screens, house key and key lock replacement as well as being proficient in the buildings heating and cool air system as well as the usual day to day responsibilities like maintaining the curb apeal Groundskeeping, filing and order tracking all while utilizing the importance of having good people skills.
We did everything here from cutting a door and windows out through solid concrete to home additions remodeling bathrooms, kitchens, basements building property line fencing roof repairs and even some extreme hillside clean ups. With all of this come knowledge in electrical circuits and lighting, plumbing, drywall, texture concrete roofing and the ability to use a variety of tools with a reference of how things work with the ability to take things apart resolve the issue and put them together.
