My goal is to use the skills I have acquired while working in the tree service industry in the last
twenty-seven years and apply them to this company. My main purpose is to use what I have
learned and become a great asset as well as challenge myself and work diligently in all levels of
management. I am also working on getting my ISA.

Help them with preparing reports, making sure their operation was running safely and profitable.

Help them with finding Mechanic shops that we could use to repair equipment.

Manage an operation with an average revenue of 2 million dollars a year, with a 15% gross profit.
Oversee 18 men, 8 crews (7 buckets and a climbing crew), up to 32 employees at one time that the contract required more employees.
Finding vendors to do PMs and repairs on equipment
Secure different companies to get climbing gear, chainsaws, etc… to run my crews
Partner and maintain good relationships with Duke Energy’s foresters to pre-ride feeders
and place numbers on work to be performed, Customer Care and Interact with them.
Supervised on numerous occasions First Responder Teams in different locations due to
natural disasters
In 2014, Duke Energy challenged us by giving us 63 miles in the North Central region,
which it contained new specifications on the contract. I was in charge of overseeing this
new project alongside the Duke Energy Forester and my division manager. Duke
Energy was pleased with our work and added 200 more miles to that year. Duke
Energy gave us an extension in 2015 and one of my missions was to bring new
employees, team leaders, and train new General Foremen. My main objective was to
build a strong North Central Operation. In 2016 and 2017 the extensions continued
and in 2018 it became an established project where Duke Energy signed a 3 year
contract.
I have trained several General Foreman; all of which have been successful on Safety and
Gross Profit
Trained and Certified employees in power lines clearance trimmer and Foremen
Screened and interviewed new employees as well as assist them with the application process.
Reported project progress, site problems and labor status to supervisors.
Assisted in the preparation of bids for new contracts by providing input on labor costs and material requirements.
Tracked and reported units and labor hours prior to submission of timecards.
