After being a seasonal tax preparer for 20 years (Enrolled Agent for 12,) I'm looking to make the leap to working full time in the industry. During the 20 years, I've completed a wide array of tax returns with a high client retention rate, and I've served as a mentor, and office manager.
I enjoy the tax preparation process, and I'm not afraid of the hard work necessary to deliver a timely, accurate returns for my clients. Whether working through an adoption credit for an unmarried couple, determining the adjusted basis for a 110 year old Montana patent mining claim, advising a California property owner about the Jarvis proposition, or working through an NOL for a failed restaurant, there's no shortage of interesting tax scenarios.
I think my background adequately prepares me for this position.
