Major Responsibilities:
Helping branch sales team meet customer demand by providing expertise on sales, quality, system and service issues at the counter. Directly involved in work flow and work processes. Inventory control, trailer audits , receiving and shipping out customer orders and maintaining product inventory. Operating fork lifts and order pickers as receiving products. Providing direction to the branch sales team with respect to decisions that are needed to meet and exceed customer demand. Complying with immediate assistance with respect to team facilitation, communication and training. Having a focal point and resource for superior service involving complex situations while exhibiting a proactive approach to maximizing sales growth. Responsible for branch display sales through effective use of the branch Merchandising Program. Communicating between management and branch sales team by leading daily activities and meetings. Clarifying questions pertaining to job assignments. Reassigning staff duties for workflow variance and implementing work schedules. Assisting Management with feedback for process improvements and in training team members. Worked very closely with branch to resolve customer issues and ensure demand fulfillment. Importantly Safety, I conducted in our Monthly Safety inspections and escalated any issues that I would come across. This involved fire extinguishers, hoses and sprinkler systems and any internal safety lights and access to exits. Inspecting outside building making safety walks to insure nothing was damaged that could cause injury's to customers or employees.
