With over four decades at Tekno Telecom LLC, I've honed my expertise in electronics, from precision soldering to expert troubleshooting of both hardware and software. My career highlights include leading customer support initiatives, working with engineers to refine the product and enhancing quality assurance processes. My dedication to team collaboration and continuous improvement in hardware & software diagnostics has consistently driven success and innovation.
45 years is a long time with one company, so I'll separate out my responsibilities into decades:
1979-1990+
I was responsible for component level troubleshooting & repair of PCBs and system building, configuring and testing, following company configuration & test procedures in the Final Test Department. I was also working in the QC area to verify that new systems being shipped out were meeting the company's standards.
1990-2000+
In addition to my above responsibilities, I began working in Customer Service handling returns & repairs. Also, working with customers on the phone helping them install, configure, troubleshoot and swap out any defective hardware. I would handle return authorization paperwork for repairs sent in & shipped out also writing up call contact reports for all service calls.
2000-2015+
In addition to the above responsibilities, I began working with the company's latest platforms. I loaded and tested new software following the engineering department's configuration & test procedures. I worked with software engineers benchmarking software, writing bug reports, troubleshot any issues in new hardware & software and helped to keep the configuration & test procedures up to date.
2015-2022+
I was given the responsibility of daily monitoring of customers on maintenance contracts. This included logging into several systems to verify they are working properly. Reporting and repairing any problems found, and also performing upgrades to the latest company software via remote connection. In 2020, due to the pandemic, I continued performing the tasks of customer monitoring & maintenance from my workstation at home.
2022-Present
I'm responsible for maintaining the company lab, servers, & equipment that are currently used for testing, developing & benchmarking software along with inventory management tasks.
I worked as a production electronics technician in the Analyze & Repair Dept. troubleshooting and repairing PCBs at component level for the pinball gaming industry.
