I am the overseer of the entire Waste Reduction Department of Louisville Metro Government
We handle all of the waste materials dumped at the Waste Reduction Center (WRC) which in turn is transported to locations such as the main Landfill of Louisville, KY., WestRock Recycle Center, Repack Metal Recycle Center, Tire Disposal, and Light-bulb Recycle in Indianapolis, IN
The (WRC) works alongside other Louisville Metro Public Works Departments such as: Waste Collection, Bulk Waste, Clean Collaboration, Metro Government Recycling, Education, and Codes and Regulations
We currently conduct collaborative work efforts with Louisville Metro Police, Fire, Sewer, and Corrections
We have business partnerships with non-profit organizations: House of Ruth, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Supplies Overseas among other community services to help make the city a better place
Under my supervision the Waste Reduction Department was able to raise profits from $574,000 to $1,300,000 in 2 years.
