  • Installed and configured new hardware components such as 755 Allen bradley drives as well as 525 VFD Drive. As well as installing sensors when they break or wear out. Adjusted sensors so the wires or the tip of sensor or arm of micro switch doesn't break in the future.
  • Performed troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of electronic equipment, such as wires for 3 phase motors. Pig-Tails for heavy equipment / 3 phase motors.
  • Maintained accurate records of all my time working on a machine. Including details on all I did as well as machinery downtime.
  • Assembled new plugs for different machinery components by soldering new connections.
  • Worked on PLC program for overhead crane. When end-effectors break, we go into studio5000 and adjust inputs from sensors on the broken parts by forcing on or off to allow the crane to operate while mechanics work on repairing end-effector.
  • PLCs I have worked with include SLC 500s and, Micrologix 5380. Logics designer, RSlinx, RSlogix 5000, and RSlogix 500, with some knowledge of Mitsubishi
  • Tested electrical systems to ensure proper functioning according to established standards. Including point to point testing with fluke multimeter. 24vdc short circuit findings. 120,280,480 AC experience. Finding bad fuses as well as sticky contacts always engaged causing heating elements to burn out.
  • Traced out wiring diagrams using schematics provided by Engineers.
  • Participated in continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency within the department.
  • Worked both independently and with crews to interpret electrical malfunctions and make repairs quickly to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Utilized EAM to process work orders, check stock quantity and place orders for parts.
  • Used Windows-based programs (Ignition, wonder-ware) to monitor pressure and temperature sensors, flow meters and network control of equipment.
