After high school, I considered taking a shift leader position but wanted a new and different experience, so I transitioned to a new role in the kitchen at Five Guys, where I applied the skills I had learned in school and fast food. This role allowed me to expand my culinary knowledge as I worked on preparing and assembling high-quality burgers and other menu items. I prioritized efficiency and teamwork, working closely with my colleagues to maintain the high standards expected at Five Guys.

At Five Guys, I took a leading role in closing shifts. I worked the grill cooking the burger patties or the quality control station. In both stations, I had to check the quality and accuracy of our food, whether it was the topping of the sandwich or the entire order before selling it to the customers. Finally, my last responsibility was closing the store. This included returning and labeling prepped food, cleaning the grill, fry, and milkshake machine, washing dishes, and sanitizing machine components.
