Frederick Oswald

• Fred and his wife opened The Elan Dance Theater in Lakeland in April of 1977.
• They opened a second school in Winter Haven in 1979. Both schools where extremely successful. In 1980 Fred had 15 teachers working under him also in 1980 Fred and his wife where the champions of the Atlanta Star Ball dancing both American smooth and American Rhythm. In 1982 they were finalists in the rising star International Standard at the Florida Dance Championships.
• Consulted with customers to assess needs and propose optimal solutions.
• Trained and motivated employees to perform daily business functions.
• Established foundational processes for business operations.
• Became a examiner and Judge for National organization
• Attained certification of fellows in international and grandmaster in american standard.
• Qualified to examine and certify instructors for there veracious levels as well as judging professional ballroom dance competitions.
• Part of my duties was to teach outside classes. I ran beginning social dance classes at Hillsborough community collage as well as Polk State Collage through the continuing education departments.
• July 25, 2000 Fred had the honor of being commissioned a Kentucky Colonel.

• Taught and explained choreography by breaking down steps and demonstrating moves.
• Planned routines for recitals and performances.
• Created healthy and safe learning environment for all students by implementing class rules and promoting mutual respect and gentle discipline.
• Provided constructive corrections to encourage students to learn steps and improve dancing.

• Cleaned and maintained kitchen equipment regularly.
• Maintained clean, organized grill stations for hygienic, orderly food preparation
• Followed recipes and kitchen procedures for consistent food quality, presentation and standards.
• Stored and handled goods correctly to maintain freshness and condition.
• Cooked regular menu items and seasonal offerings according to corporate standards and guidelines.
