Marksman Security is the security contractor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tennessee, the client. Access control was the primary objective at all of the locations. Greeted staff, guests, vendors, and contractors upon arrival at the facility entrances. Monitored surveillance cameras and responded to suspicious activity. Performed first aid and CPR, when necessary, during emergencies. Reviewed guest identification and employee credentials to authorize entry onto the premises, and resigned in good standing to relocate to South Carolina.
Responsible for the security of the employees, and office buildings at the companies corporate headquarters. Monitor controlled access to every company building, via the DNA Hardware system. Constant monitoring of all buildings and parking areas through the CCTV system. Patrol company property by foot patrol, and security vehicles. Assist and render medical assistance to employees, and guests.
The positions that I held within the police department were: Patrolman, Detective, and Sergeant. As a Patrolman, the enforcement of local and state laws were the primary responsibilities. The Detective position required following up on the initial crime reports, documented by patrol personnel. The crimes were investigated until an arrest was made, or until all investigative leads were exhausted. As a Sergeant, I lead a squad of uniformed patrol officers, as well as supervised civilian personnel. Retired in excellent standing.
Certifications: Graduate Police Officer with the New Jersey Police Training Commission. During the course of my career I have attended over twenty specialization schools, including: Basic and Advanced Criminal Investigation, FBI Hostage Negotiation School, Juvenile Justice Training, Interrogation Techniques, Police Supervision, Conflict Resolution, Report Writing, Basic and Advanced Traffic Investigation Schools, FBI Latent Print Identification.
