I provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for young children.
I develop age-appropriate activities to encourage physical, social and intellectual development of children while implementing hands-on, play-based strategies for experiential learning.
I collaborate closely with team members and community professionals to insure inclusion for all children.
I Maintain accurate records of each child's progress including daily observations and anecdotal notes.
I use Child Plus and Teaching Strategies data collecting programs per program mandates.
I collaborate with parents to discuss their child's progress or any concerns they may have regarding their child's development.
I incourage parent participation in curriculum building to ensure each child's culture is represented.
I conduct home visits in order to build relationships with families to assess their strengths and needs and promote home educational activities.
I plan and implement lessons using various teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
I ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as licensing standards and Policy and Procedures.
I promote effective communication between staff members by participating actively in team meetings and encourage curriculum participation.
I participate in all required annual organizational trainings and professional development opportunities.
