As a wealth management adviser (WMC) with over 40 years of experience, I have been involved in all areas and aspects of building and growing a wealth management practice. I am responsible for acquiring new client relationships, as well as, maintaining existing high net worth relationships. In addition, as a senior partner and co-founder of the firm, I am responsible for the overall mission and management of the company.
Arriving in 1989, I was responsible for building "from scratch", Northwestern Manual's first broker-dealer in 1989. I was the resident "Investment Specialist" responsible for building the platform, training all the representatives, managing the business, as well as, personal production.
I was the lead portfolio manager for a no-load mutual fund. In this role, I was responsible for the selection and ongoing monitoring of all the equity securities held in the portfolio. I also interacted with our largest institutional investors on a regular bais. In addition, I would be involved in new cline acquisition as the internal "subject matter expert."
Research of the equity and fixed income markets from a macro perspective. Also involved in research of new security selections and the ongoing monitoring of their performance relative to benchmarks. Also involved in new client acquisition and as a service manager for selected client relationships.
