Served for one year in an outpatient clinic. Provided primary care to low-income urban and rural communities, 10-15 patients daily. Performed home and public school visits to provide preventive strategies. Coordinated the respiratory and COVID-19 unit for three months. Provided prenatal care to low-risk pregnancies. Performed children assessments on adequate growth, milestones, and immunization status and taught preventive care to parents. Worked with the prevention of cervical and breast cancer unit, performed cytology of the cervix and manual breast exam; moreover, helped with chronic disease program ( Diabetes mellitus and arterial hypertension)

Served for one year in the tertiary-level specialized Hospital hospitals in El Salvador, rotating in pediatrics, gynecology, psychiatric, public health, internal medicine, General Surgery, and obstetrics-gynecology. In charge of 5-10 patients on specialty floors, performed daily 12-hour shifts and 24 -hours every four days, wrote medical histories and indications, and presented patient cases. Worked in the maximum emergency, and intermediate care units, endocrinology, hematology, and oncology. Performed EKGs, urethral catheterization, nasogastric tube placement, suturing, care of sterile wounds, fetal non-stress test, and Vaginal deliveries. Helped to manage psychotic and intoxicated patients, moreover helped in the unit of psychology with patients with anxiety during the beginning of COVID-19. Collaborated as a primary care physician under the supervision during public health rotation.
