  • Atlantic Highlands Former Manufactured Gas Plant, Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey: Served as an engineer and was responsible for construction management oversight of the remediation of potential MGP related impacts. Delivered detailed daily summaries of work performed and a scope of work for the following day to the client. Tracked and made necessary adjustments to change orders, self monitoring reports, and materials loading. Communicated directly with the client on a weekly basis to ensure project progress. Facilitated community relations for the duration of the project with the client. Observed permitting procedures and construction management practices. Managed construction oversight on a part-time to full-time basis while managing other small project timelines. Reviewed and tracked invoices, submittals and permits. Co-authored the Remedial Action Report following the completion of on-site activities at the former MGP site.
  • Freehold Former Manufactured Gas Plant, Freehold, New Jersey: Served as an engineer and was responsible for oversight of site investigation involving the installation and sampling of shallow and deep borings to investigate potential MGP related impacts. Conducted a vapor intrusion investigation involving indoor air and ambient air sampling and oversight of sub-slab soil gas sampling. Responsible for oversight of sonic drilling activities while maintaining site safety at all times. Collected soil samples that were representative of subsurface conditions and in accordance with the NJDEP FSPM. Provided oversight and guidance during monitoring well installations. Delivered detailed daily summaries of work performed and a scope of work for the following day. Responsible for oversight of groundwater sampling including quality assurance check of field parameters for stabilization in accordance with NJDEP FSPM. Managed onsite IDW and tracked all drums onsite which were reused to limit unnecessary costs to the client.
  • Former North Beach and Fillmore Manufactured Gas Plants, San Francisco, California: Served as an engineer and was responsible for oversight of drilling activities to install soil vapor probes across the Fillmore and North Beach Footprints in the Marina District of San Francisco. She logged soil in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS). Responsible for assembling sampling line to collect sub slab soil gas samples in accordance with the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). Co-wrote the investigation reports for both footprints detailing the site background, the approach to field work, data analysis and evaluation, and recommendations for the path forward.
  • Aberdeen Former Manufactured Gas Plant, Aberdeen, New Jersey, Served as an engineer and was responsible for leading a vapor intrusion in the field to evaluate a potential preferential pathway related to former MGP related operations. Led the field effort which included the installation of three permanent vapor pins in accordance with the NJDEP FSPM and the NJDEP technical regulations. Conducted indoor air sampling as well. Conducted a review of the data and worked with the project team to develop a plan for a path forward.
  • Toms River Former Manufactured Gas Plant, Toms River, New Jersey: Served as an engineer and was responsible for the oversight of shallow to intermediate borings for product delineation. Responsible for oversight of split spoon and direct push drilling activities while maintaining site safety at all times. Collected soil samples that were representative of subsurface conditions and in accordance with the NJDEP FSPM. Conducted soil sampling for PCB delineation on a rush turn around time. Responsible for oversight of groundwater sampling including quality assurance check of field parameters for stabilization in accordance with NJDEP FSPM. Managed onsite IDW and tracked all drums onsite which were reused to limit unnecessary costs to the client.
