Gabriel Arce-Torres

Volunteering in the fire service has been some of the most difficult, rewarding, and incredible days of my life. Being a student-athlete most of my life has prepared me for physical and demanding days, while simultaneously teaching me how to participate in a team and help it grow to its full potential. I enjoy working under pressure and thrive on the challenge of something new, which has made firefighting both exciting and extremely rewarding. I look forward in continuing my education and certifications based on things I enjoy like rope rescues, technical rescues and swift water rescue as well.

-During my time as a volunteer I completed a 4 month volunteer academy then later got my EMT certification. While volunteering I responded to calls ranging from commercial fires, medical calls, and motor vehicle calls.
