Load garbage in Sarasota and unload at landfills in Fort myers and Punta Gorda.

Work with supervisor to arrange the routes and loads for the day.

Safely transfer the collected waste to the disposal site.

Report any issues with truck to supervisor to ensure maintenance of the truck is up to date.

Follow all required safety policies.

• Transporting finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.

• Inspected vehicle before and after trips and logged and reported mechanical problems to avoid unsafe hazards.
• Communicated with dispatchers and other office personnel to handle two-way updates and adjust daily schedules.
