As a former self-employed landscaper I successfully navigated finding customers who I could provide value for and good relationships. I gained useful experience finding clients and being able to sell the value of my service to them. In talking to them I had to be a good listener, an effective communicator, and build relationships. After providing services to them I would ask for their feedback and how my services could become of higher value to them. I believe these skills and experiences will translate well into a sales career.
