- Generated new statistical methods to view performance of hydropower assets over time, using automated python scripts
- Quantified inefficiencies as losses in revenue using real time power pricing data, showing when a plant needed maintenance
- Introduced concepts surrounding optimal maintenance at cost effective times, considering level of degradation of assets, and optimal power output. This is applicable in any capital-intensive process where machines degrade over time. Not yet an industry norm anywhere, but only a matter of time until it is.
