In addition to receiving distinguished medals for direct combat actions, Gabriel brings a wealth of experience in tradecraft and surveillance. Having spent eight years working clandestinely in various "cover" capacities, he operated full-time in multi-agency operations, showcasing a remarkable dedication to national security and successful operations that had global impact.


Gabriel's expertise extends to high-end tradecraft training, where he played a pivotal role in organizing collaborative sessions between his agency and others. These training programs involved intricate scenarios, including hostile government confrontations and deep cover operations. His proficiency in tradecraft not only contributed to the success of these operations but also earned him respect and recognition within intelligence and law enforcement circles.


With a focus on service and relationship-driven leadership, Gabriel expanding his knowledge earing a M.S. in Cyber Operations. He cultivated an extensive network of public and private sector partners globally. His leadership roles include guiding elite teams of FBI Cyber Agents positioned throughout Europe, serving as a Delegate to the G-7 High Technology Crime Sub-Group, and speaking at the esteemed George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies in Garmisch, Germany. Additionally, he played a key role in transforming the FBI's Cyber Watch Center to effectively counter today's most aggressive threat actors. Reaching the ranks of GS-15, Gabriel represented the FBI's Cyber Incident Response interests at the NSC and White House, and then later became the FBI's cyber SME for Industrial Controls Systems.
