Support to the Lead Teacher: Collaborate in the implementation of educational and therapeutic activities designed for children with special needs.
Supervision of Children: Observe and attend to students to ensure their safety, well-being, and active participation in activities.
Individualized Assistance: Provide additional support to children who require extra help to complete tasks, follow instructions, or engage in group activities.
Promotion of Social and Communication Skills: Support positive interactions among children, fostering respect, inclusion, and the development of social skills.
Collaboration in Daily Routines: Assist during transitions, in self-care activities (feeding, hygiene, rest), and in the organization of the classroom.
Management of Materials and Environment: Prepare, organize, and clean work materials, games, and educational resources to maintain a safe and structured environment.
Modeling Appropriate Behaviors: Demonstrate positive behaviors such as following rules, using respectful language, and showing patience and empathy.
Support in Behavioral Interventions: Follow the teacher’s directions to apply behavior management strategies or positive reinforcement.
Supported student physical, mental, and social development using classroom games and activities.
Supervised recess, lunch and daily student intake and dismissal.
