I Am a young 21 Y/o man who lives in the pnw. I have always valued success over playtime which is why i started working when i was 15. I've always wanted to achieve more and move as far as i can for myself. I like to spend my off time golfing or walking my dog and like to be in bed by 9:00pm nightly. I started working as a pizza maker when i was 16 which gave me a good handle on customer service work, money handling, some inventory and book keeping, food service work but i knew that was not a career and so i knew i wanted something different after doing that for a few years. When i was still a senior in highschool during covid i was recommended to apply to an electrical contracting company called Frederickson Electric, by one of their project managers. Doing this gave me a great opportunity for experience and to not just sit around while my senior year got taken away. I was mainly an HVAC installer, but that gave me lots of experience running cabling, piping, and mounting units. When we didn't have big A/C jobs i would be sent with a different journeyman and this is where i got experience roughing in houses, trimming out (installing outlets, lights, etc...) and general electrical work. After working here for almost 2 years i had realized what great experience it had given me and how many extra skills it added to my resume, so i decided I'd try sending in an application at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA. This job has given me crazy amounts of vast experience. I am a category 3 crane operator, i install and troubleshoot fiber optics, Electrical testing, 5kv breaker change outs, verifying absence of voltage before other shops work the component, i have gained vast experience in communication having to find and communicate with naval officers and enlisted personnel for need of help or assistance.
