I am a motivated and driven 21-year-old professional based in the Pacific Northwest, with a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to personal and career development. Since entering the workforce at 15, I’ve consistently prioritized growth, discipline, and excellence in every role I’ve taken on. Early experiences in customer service as a pizza maker taught me the fundamentals of teamwork, cash handling, inventory control, and food service—skills that built the foundation for my professional journey.
While still in high school during the COVID-19 pandemic, I seized the opportunity to begin working for Frederickson Electric, an electrical contracting company, through a referral from one of their project managers. This hands-on role primarily involved HVAC installation, which provided me with practical experience in running cabling, piping, and mounting units. On days without HVAC projects, I worked alongside journeymen electricians, gaining valuable experience in residential electrical work, including rough-ins, trim-outs, and system installations. My time there significantly expanded my technical skill set and reaffirmed my desire to pursue a career in a more advanced, skilled trade.
This led me to apply to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA, where I worked for a little over 2 years. This position had significantly broadened my expertise and responsibilities. I am now a Category 3 certified crane operator and have gained extensive experience in fiber optic installation and troubleshooting, electrical testing, 5kV breaker replacements, and verifying absence of voltage prior to system handoffs. I also regularly collaborate with naval officers and enlisted personnel, which has strengthened my communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills in high-stakes environments.
Following this, I took on a role as a Systems Specialist, supporting paper mills across the region. In this position, I was responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex automation and control systems used in large-scale industrial manufacturing. My work included terminating control cabling, integrating hardware and PLCs, and performing diagnostics to ensure system stability and performance. This role further honed my technical precision and deepened my understanding of industrial process control and operational continuity.
Outside of work, I prioritize a balanced lifestyle, spending my free time golfing, walking my dog, and maintaining a consistent routine—including early nights—to support peak performance and personal well-being.
