Started managing small crew of carpenters, while still working with my tools whenever possible. Ordering/scheduling material/deliveries; tracking, compiling, and inputting employee production and time. Attending weekly Forman/Subcontractor meetings, job progress/production-rate meetings. Wall, soffit, ceiling layout (with Spectra Precision Laser Layout System, Topcon Robotic Total Station Layout System, and by hand). Ceiling grid/pads; specialty ceilings (Axiom/Clouds/Torsion Spring Panel ceilings). Interior steel stud framing (walls/soffits, ceilings, radius walls/soffits); drywall; exterior steel stud framing; exterior sheathing.

Gradually started taking on more responsibility as a lead carpenter, framing interior walls/soffits, hanging drywall, ceiling grid/pads, exterior framing/sheathing. Working as assistant Forman doing wall/soffit/ceiling layout (by hand and with Spectra Precision Laser Layout System); helping track production. Specialty ceilings (Axiom, Clouds, Torsion Spring Panel ceilings).

Returned to work at Danis after trying a Semester of Construction Management at the University of Cincinnati. Working with experienced lead carpenters hanging drywall, framing, learning ceiling grid and pads.

Started at Danis my Senior year of High School through their Apprenticeship program, working 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Helping out where I could, assisting and learning from more experienced carpenters, and doing general housekeeping. Then started working full time after graduating High School, before attending Sinclair Community College in the Fall. Working with and learning from experienced lead carpenters.
