
Natural resource management student with a background in stream and stormwater management. Through my work experiences at numerous park districts in Ohio, I have been able to gain knowledge of Ohio's ecosystems and the best practices for managing them. I hope to continue my conservation efforts in new roles involved with aquatics and invasive plant management.
· Assess streams using various methods such as Bank Erosion Hazard Index, Large Woody Debris Index, and Stream Function Inventory.
· Assess stream crossings such as culverts, fords, and bridges for fish passage or maintenance needs.
· Complete hand scale restoration work (gully repair, build berms along streams, add grade control).
· Monitor restoration projects throughout the project's duration to ensure proper environmental sediment controls are followed as well as ensuring all steps of the project are accurately completed.
· Design, maintain, and construct various stormwater control measures throughout the park district.
· Leads volunteer groups as they assist in stormwater control measure maintenance.
· Removal and management of various invasive plants in the parks stormwater control measures.
· Assist other park departments in their daily tasks (invasive plants, hydrology, aquatics)
· Support Park Mission and Core Values through daily assigned tasks.
· Manage and maintain Park County lands for sustainable use such as trail maintenance and .
· Maintain open space preservation of unique natural resources located throughout the County Parks.
· Operated various Park equipment and machinery necessary to support daily operations. (Dump truck, trucks and trailers, hand equipment, dingo)
