My name is Gabi and I am an Event Producer and Project Manager with over 15 years of experience in large-scale productions across the fashion, corporate, and cultural sectors.
I have successfully led and taken part of projects in multiple countries, including producing events for USAID, Facebook (Meta) regionally in Central America, being a part of the Skoll World Forum in Oxford and leading The Impact Lounge during the Sundance Film Festival and UNGA Week at the United Nations. I am also the Production Manager for F/ROW during NYFW and LAFW. In Guatemala, I have been a part of the lead producer team for Guatemala Fashion Week for 11 consecutive years, collaborating with national and international designers and brands.
I am also a former teacher in Event Production at UNIS University Guatemala, contributing to the development of future industry professionals. I am skilled at organizing projects, managing logistics, and leading teams to ensure events run smoothly, while working closely with partners to manage expectations, secure collaborations, and deliver successful outcomes.
I enjoy taking on new challenges and bring commitment, creativity, and hands-on experience to every project I take part in.
Skoll World Forum
Founded by Jeff Skoll, the Skoll World Forum brings together social entrepreneurs, innovators, and key stakeholders to drive transformational social change. The forum connects global changemakers to share solutions, form alliances, and scale impact through storytelling, thought leadership, and strategic collaboration. It focuses on tackling pressing social challenges and advancing equitable, sustainable solutions worldwide.
The Impact Lounge is a leading platform where visionaries, storytellers, and artists come together to use narrative and film to drive positive social change and tell stories that matter. It activates at major gatherings such as the Sundance Film Festival, UNGA Week at the United Nations, Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, Cannes, and Climate Week New York, creating a hub for collaboration and impact.
F/ROW Fashion Week
A U.S.-based platform that blends fashion, art, and culture through immersive runway shows and live experiences. Taking place in Los Angeles and in NY during NYFW, it spotlights both emerging and established designers. F/ROW also provides PR, production, and media opportunities to help talent expand in the U.S. market.
Guatemala Fashion Week (GTFW), (originally Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Guatemala) is the leading platform for Guatemalan fashion since 2014, hosting two annual editions (summer and winter). Recognized internationally, it connects local designers with global fashion networks and media, including Vogue, InStyle, and Elle. GTFW also supports emerging talent through initiatives like Made in Guate with the support of the Guatemalan Ministry of Economy.

It is known for fostering creativity, innovation, and professional growth, providing students with hands-on experience and industry exposure.
Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW)
A globally recognized platform for designers and brands, featuring runway shows, fashion experiences, pop-up activations, live events, and panels. LAFW brings together industry professionals and audiences to celebrate creativity, innovation, and emerging talent.
SIMBIOTICA - a USAID initiative was created as an international platform to merge contemporary art with Guatemala’s traditional artisanal techniques to empower artisans. A project supported by USAID, it brought together artists and artisans to collaboratively create unique works. The resulting pieces traveled globally, elevating Guatemalan craft to the recognition and artistic value it deserves.
Saúl E. Méndez is a renowned Guatemalan lifestyle brand founded in 1953, originally specializing in high-quality men’s tailoring. It was one of the first brands in the country to experiment with disruptive marketing campaigns and produce its own images for campaigns, events, fashion shows, and large-scale parties.
