Women's Emergency Triage

• Emergency triage nurse of high and low risks obstetrical patients and Gynecological patients.
• Responsible for prioritizing patient care in two of an 18 bed emergency room triage.
• Performing assessment, lab draws, ordering of diagnostic testing as per physician, medication disbursement, pain assessment and discharge or admit to appropriate hospital units for further treatment.

Obstetrical Nurse

• Responsible for care of high and low risk Obstetrical patients; including: Newborn assessments, postmortem neonatal care, maternal and fetal assessment, assisting physician with delivery, as well as alternating responsibility of a five bed triage.
• Charge nurse responsible for eight bed unit. In addition to facilitating and prioritizing staff assignments to ABC (Alternating Birthing Center), PSU ( Perinatal Surveillance Unit), and MFM (Maternal Fetal Transfers), transfers from surrounding city area hospitals, of high risk patients.
• Extensive experience of Operating Room procedures for Cesarean section, Tubal Ligation, D&C, and Hysterectomies.
