On July 15th, 2025, I had the privilege attending the National Association for Negro Musicians Annual convention and performing in a masterclass with Mrs. Indra Thomas, a Coloratura Soprano who's sung at Carnegie Hall, and the Metropolitan Opera, as the mentor. I sang Tell Me On A Sunday from the Musical Song and Dance by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and I learned a lot about freeing up my sound instead of trying to control it. It was truly wonderful to learn from such an acclaimed musician and I am always eager to learn more.
