I am float pool staff and responsible for visiting 3 different sites quarterly. I still work at Temple and added Taylor/Pflugerville locations to my travel.

• Managed ventilator support for critically ill patients in intensive care units, ensuring proper adjustments according to physician orders and clinical guidelines. Floor therapies and ED assistance as well. Assessed, diagnosed and treated respiratory issues. What was new for me with this postition, was that I got some experience with pediatrics at the Pflugerville/Taylor locations, and it has been amazing.
• Ultimately, expectations are the same for me at every location and working at these 3 hospitals has increased my confidence and experience exponentially.

• Trained on the floors, ER and all ICU's (medical, surgical/trauma, cardiac and neuroscience).
• I also worked ECMO PRN for a year.
• Worked all throughout the COVID pandemic.
• I have worked with mostly adults my whole career but willing to expand my knowledge and work in other populations.
• 6 years experience at this location.
• Managed and operated mechanical ventilators to deliver airway management. Ventilators: Drager V-500, Servos, Aveas, PB-840 and others. BIPAP: Vision, V-60, Trilogy and others.
• Collaborated with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Educated patients and families on proper use of respiratory equipment and techniques for managing respiratory disorders to improve patient outcomes.
• Administered oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy and inhalation therapy to improve patients' breathing and lung function.
• Assessed, diagnosed, and treated breathing issues.
• Performed bronchial hygiene techniques to remove mucus and secretions from patient lungs and improve lung function.
• Provided antibiotics, bronchodilators, and anti-inflammatory medications with hand-held nebulizers, metered-dose inhalers and positive pressure equipment.
• Aided physicians with various procedures such as bronchoscopies, ventilator management, bedside tracheostomies and intubations.
• Monitored patient's physiological responses to therapy such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes.
• Completed continued education units annually to stay current with respiratory therapy advancements and maintain compliance with administrative regulations.

I worked at this location PRN for about one year. When COVID happened I had to resign from here to help my main hospital with shifts. Performed the same skills and knowledge at this hospital as well.
