Gabrielle Sweeney

I am currently a Peer Mentor/ Teacher's Assistant for Campbell Universities Freshman Seminar. I aid the professor in grading work and facilitating lessons. I have one-on-one meetings with each student multiple times a semester to ensure that they are having a good academic and social experience during their first year of transition to college.

I am the Special Events Chair for Campbell Universities Campus Activities Board. I put on and facilitate fun student events to help students get involved and have an outlet to come for fun breaks during the semester. I was a 2023 member of Campbell Universities Tartan team which is an organization that runs summer orientation programs to support students in their first-year transition.

I was a lifeguard at the YMCA for 3 years and have been promoted twice, first as a Head Lifeguard and now as an Aquatics Supervisor. I run staff meetings, make schedules, and ensure that my Lifeguard's are well prepared for emergencies. I am also in charge of all Preschool-Youth swim lessons and help coach the swim team. I am Lifeguard, CPR, and AED certified.
