I am an undergraduate student currently enrolled in the Major of Management and Restoration of Aquatic Ecosystems program at USU. I'm in my fourth year of study at USU. I have a GPA of 3.56 and am seeking internship opportunities to gain Fisheries Management and/or Riverscape Restoration experience. I am outgoing, friendly, and passionate about maintaining the health and biodiversity of America's waterways.

Watershed Technician

- Adjusted boards in a fish ladder on the Cub River to current water levels, cleaned woody debris from fish ladder walls, and caught trapped fish with hand nets on a daily basis during spawning season. Caught fish were identified by species, sexed, weighed, and measured. Caudal fin clips were obtained from cutthroat trout for genetic analyses.
- Performed stream surveys for tributaries of the Cub River and North Eden Creek. Measurements collected included bankfull width, wetted width, temperature, and thalweg depth.
- Helped stock hatchery fish in reservoirs.
- Assisted in collecting roe and milt from cutthroat trout to be used for hatchery rearing.
- Assisted in collecting fish samples from various Idaho & Utah streams/rivers via electric fishing.
- Installed beaver dam analogues on Summit Creek.
- Attended project tours for various wildlife management areas and helped discuss the various ways specific riverscape systems have been impacted in the past and possible methods of treatment.
