Summary

I am inspired about a career in firefighting after hearing stories about my father in the industry. He served as a Charlotte firefighter for over 18 years. For all of my childhood, I was fortunate enough to hear the stories about how he was a wonderful teammate and how he had a desire to serve and help others. If I had the opportunity to live like he did, I know I would thrive. Not only are my interests about serving the community the same, I have an appreciation for physical fitness, strong work ethic and I am teachable.

I am also currently taking Fire academy classes through Rowan Cabarrus Community college for firefighter 1 and 2, while being a volunteer on Flowes store Fire department.
