Passionate in helping children, teenagers and young adults succeed.

Within the passing ten years I've utilize my voice and skills to help over thirty therapeutic foster care children grow and develop beyond their present circumstances in life from which they came. I've aided children, teenagers and young adults in understanding that life is about making good and sound choices in every situation that your life bring to you daily. Along with my passion I attended several appointments from various IEP meetings, pediatric appointments, mental therapy appointments and dental appointments, etc.  I've learn to address the specific needs of my children in foster care who present more complex emotional, behavioral, or medical challenges regardless of how they are labeled or identified. With my passion I've provided specialized therapeutic interventions and support to help our children heal. Lastly I've aided children and teenagers to develop coping skills with constantly helping them to improve on making better decisions, learning and practicing appropriate conflict resolution skills in the still moment of whatever is going on presently. Along with these pursuits I've kept up with daily medicine logs, fire logs and therapeutic bi-monthly notes on there above skills mentioned. Some of my children have returned home to be with their family, some have been adopted and others are still in other foster homes as well still pursing life with the skills we all helped to shape for this role does require a village. I have taken numerous classes on self defense, CPR, suicide prevention and others just to name a few. This is only one aspect on how I 've choose to use my passion.
