In 2003 I was hired on as a temporary employee for Exceptional Children's Dept as a receptionist. Within 2 Months I was hired on as a full time employee. When I first was hired as a temp. I was told it was temporary. I told my Director that I would do such a good job she wouldn't want to let me go. 2 Months later I was hired permantly full time. A couple years later the Drivers Ed. Asst. Position opened up, my Director told me I was not experienced enough for the position, but the Director of Drivers Ed. Gave me chance and I succeeded. After my son's birth and maternity leave in 2007, I was placed with Elementary Dept. Fore-which I stayed until there was a Admin. Asst. Shuffle between depts. By our Asst. Superintendent. At that time, I ended up with the Digital Learning & Teaching Services - best move I have ever experienced. I love my team and what we do and stand for. I have never had the opportunity to grow as much as this position would allow me. This position would be a great opportunity for me and my son.
