Gaëlle Jean-Pierre

I have been blessed with a very interesting life, wonderful and supportive parents, and more positive and interesting life experiences in 16 years than probably many have had in a lifetime.

I'm thrilled by new experiences in disparate and interesting places and have been fortunate to have lived in Jamaica, Trinidad and the British Virgin Islands.

I also enjoy reading, learning about new things and places, and look forward to my next big adventure in the fall, University, which hopefully will help prepare me further for my biggest adventure of all, Adult Life.

I started travelling with my parents as a baby and as an unaccompanied minor at 8. I have done road trips, a college tour and visited relatives in Canada. Last summer I traveled for the first time without an attendant, though I got some assistance with transfers and connections. I will be traveling for the rest of my life.

In grade school I started reading and have not stopped, though I don't read as much as I once did. I have read various series and currently prefer coming of age stories.

I speak with my Grandma, uncles, aunt and cousin at every opportunity, which is almost everyday. We have group chats and video calls to keep up with each other. I have done this since I was a tot.

I like action movies, mysteries, romantic comedies and religious movies among others.

I love admiring beautiful houses and have collected them online since I was in middle school.
