  • Autonomous Search and Rescue Robot:

CNN to detect objects in the ROS environment and RRT*, A* to plan and optimize trajectory to rescue animals.

Used EKF to estimate vehicle position based on sensor readings.

  • Drum Hero

A spin off for Guitar hero. Low latency audio and haptic feedback on drum hit.

PWM Communication between PIC to PIC, SPI communication with LED Strips, GPIO for Different Peripherals.

  • 3D printing buildings with Robots:

A Kuka arm fitted on a gantry with a rotational and a prismatic joint at the bottom to trace out layout of walls in a building leaving spaces for windows and roof light. Closed Loop controls used for arm Manipulation.

  • Mapping out Indoor space with Computer Vision:

Using PointNet++ to generate 2D maps of indoor spaces using point clouds of dozens of buildings.

  • Photon X -Automatic Solar Panel Cleaner:

A rover-based robot to automatically clean the surface of solar panels. Capable of moving on steep surfaces. Controllable with a custom mobile application.

  • Automated Lavatory Cleaning Robot:

Using computer vision to detect toilet seat and automatically plan a path to clean the toilet floor along with the toilet seat.

The robot was equipped with a cantilever arm with a rotating jet with the purpose of cleaning the toilet seat effectively.
