With over 14+ years of professional experience in the IT industry, I bring extensive knowledge and expertise in database technologies. My background includes working with Oracle databases (10g,11g, 12c, 18C, 19C), MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SingleStore (MemSQL) across Linux, Sun Solaris, and Windows operating systems. I am highly skilled in database management, including installation, configuration, upgrades, security patching, and migration.

I have hands-on experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), disaster recovery solutions, ASM, RMAN, backup and recovery strategies, and performance tuning. I’ve successfully managed critical production Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SingleStore databases in 24/7 environments across various platforms including Windows, Solaris, and Linux.

In addition, I have played a key role in the end-to-end implementation of Data Warehousing projects and have led multiple successful database migration and upgrade projects to the latest versions. I also have experience configuring MemSQL (SingleStore) pipelines to transfer data securely from GCP to on-premise SingleStore environments. I possess a strong understanding of quality processes and SEI CMM Level 5 procedures.

I’ve worked extensively with cloud platforms, including managing AWS EC2, RDS, and PostgreSQL databases, and working with services like Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, Auto Scaling, VPC, and Cloud9. On Google Cloud Platform (GCP), I have experience with Cloud SQL (MySQL), integrating and managing it effectively within hybrid cloud environments.

Throughout my career, I’ve delivered exceptional results for clients such as American Express, Rite Aid, Suez Water Technologies, GE Power & Water, SAS, TELENOR, and ALSTOM, working across both the USA and European markets.
