  • Keep working as Flats PG in regular shifts and doing Vista on overtime shifts, take care of safety issues, lead and engage AAs for higher FPY and fewer miss sorts or late delivery, teach and push different roles working together as a team, and avoid AA thinking as "it's their job" or "we are flats and they are main dock", make direct roles and indirect roles can understand each other well and give teammates a hand whenever they can by working in a multi-role, engage AA to take care of all teammates at shipdock, and other departments like AFE/pack/VR/RME/ABM and all the people we can meet and work together in the building, notice them we all work at OAK4 for Amazon, all OAK4 is one team.
  • Successful performance:
  • Engage and trained inductors to reduce scan scrap low than 2% when they can keep a good induct rate, to make sure more packages can be inducted and diverted to chutes successfully,
  • Keep Flats FPY higher than 95% during February, at the most time we can keep it at 97% and the highest record we did is 98.1% in a whole day. We did it through hard work WS, WS wing and jam clear, they focus on CPT containers and bluelights, make sure all conveyors working well. Loaders help loading staged containers to give us more space is another important point. All carts runner keeping give us recourse we need did help a lot also.
  • Working as vista give me more chance to understand how we make more successful delivery, also make me work with more roles than flats PG, including ship clerk, PGs, loaders, WS, TDR and scanners,. The best part of this is when we working together we will more time to know and trust each other, it helps a lot when we fighting for a better result.
  • Found some issues of building control system what give us miss sorts or VPM, connect engineers as soon as possibly and track process until fix.
  • Engage loaders and vista pay more attention on merging unfullfill containers to avoid unnecessary ADHOC.
