Garima Garg

I am a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders, addiction and trauma-related conditions. I have experience of providing comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric care to adult patients (including Telehealth) and have avid teaching experience of Psychiatry residents and medical students.

With a holistic and collaborative approach to mental health, I integrate psychopharmacology with psychotherapy techniques tailored to each patient's needs with complex medical presentations. My clinical interests include management of psychiatric symptoms in the context of acute and chronic medical illnesses, mood disorders, addiction, and interventional psychiatry.

I have diverse Telehealth experience through my training and afterwards and currently provide Inpatient Telehealth service as an Attending Psychiatrist.

In the past, I have served as an Assistant Program Director and was involved in creating didactics for the residents and medical students on service.

I am also certified Epic Hyperspace (EMR) trainer and served as Assistant Director for Clinical Informatics at MetroHealth.
