Section name
I encouraged my children to read from the time they leaned how to. The reason I chose to is I learned books have all the answers. Everything I needed to know was in a book somewhere. I made my first "meal" at six years old. My Mother was single at the time and worked a lot, so myself and my siblings had to be more independent than some children. She slide a milk crate up to the stove, she put oil in the frying pan and I did the rest. I have been a fan of cooking ever since. I like to think I'm pretty good. I always get nice compliments.
