Started Winnebago in 2004 operating a CNC router in the sawmill.
Went to aluminum extrusion from there to avoid being laid off and worked my way up to getting dies ready for the press and checking samples of parts coming out of the press to make sure they were within tolerance.
Again to avoid a permanent lay off I went to fiberglass where I have spent the past 15 years. Started with chopping and rolling the glass into the molds. Moved onto gelling the molds, and then to grinding the parts that we made. About 10 or 11 years in my supervisor asked me if I would like to be a lead person in the area. I took that offer and worked my way into inventory management when we went live with the new inventory and production system that has been going through the plant.
Currently I go through all the inventory we receive in for accuracy and make adjustments if they are incorrect. Also do all our cycle counting for every quarter. I also look into issues with production orders that people have trouble with, and work on fixing any inventory issues on them among other problems.
Cleaned shop and occasionally ran lathe, mill, and CNC lathe.
